PROJECT MANAGER (38.5 H/W) IN GRAZ

Know-Center is an Austrian Research Center for Data-Driven Business and Big Data Analytics. Via a network of over 50 partner companies and 100 international research organizations, with more than 100 highly-qualified employees at our location in Graz we provide innovative solutions and intelligent services to our customers under the motto “from data to intelligence.

Together with our cooperation partners from academia and industry, we work on innovative topics related to Machine/Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence. This entails projects within which we attempt to generate comprehensive added value in the form of new knowledge based on the existing data sets. Your role will be managing these projects.

Your responsibilities:

Managing industry and research projects
Communicating with customers and project partners
Presenting project results
Creating the project plan in consultation with the customer
Time and resource planning and tracking within the project
Coordinating the project team
Reporting and marketing
Active knowledge exchange within the team

Your qualifications:

Min. 3 years of experience in project management
Teamwork, independence and excellent communication skills
Fluent German and English, spoken and written
Completed degree in computer science, software development, telematics, mathematics, statistics or a comparable science / technical study is a plus
Previous knowledge in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence is a plus

Interest in:

Software development and project management
Current research topics, e.g., Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Artificial Intelligence
Collaboration with scientists, data scientists, students and software developers

Under our collective agreement, the minimum gross salary for this full-time (38.5 h/W) position is € 2,979 per month (14 times a year), plus a performance bonus. Higher compensation is possible, depending on your qualifications and experience.
